Hypernet Communications Goes Digital
Cleburne, Texas - December 03, 1997-Hypernet Communications, Inc. announces the introduction of digital Internet access to the area. Hypernet is the first Internet Service Provider (ISP) in the area to offer this service. According to President and CEO Douglas Bowyer, "This will allow us to handle the new 56k modem technology that so many people seem to want access to."

Bowyer adds that Hypernet will also be able to handle high-speed connectivity needs, such as high speed ISDN 64k/128k. "Businesses with clients outside our area will find that transferring documents and files will be much faster with the ISDN connections, saving them valuable time."

And of course the average consumer benefits from the digital service by allowing them to take great advantage of their current modem speeds. Surveys indicate that those using a 28.8 modem tend to get a more consistent 28.8 connection, meaning faster download times.

Not only does the new technology improve service for Hypernet's current customers, but it gives them ability to keep up with the increase in the number of customers it serves and avoid busy signals which seem to plague some of the larger providers.
