FreePPP 2.5v2 Setup
- First, open FreePPP by clicking on the Apple icon. Then go to the control panel and click on FreePPP.
- On the first screen that pops up, there should be a blue triangle in the bottom left corner. Click on it.
- Click on the General Tab. On the General Tab, the only box that should be checked is the one that displays "allow applications to open connection."
- Next, click on modem setup. On this screen, make sure there is a check in AutoDetect init string. Next, click OK.
- Click on the Accounts Tab and click New.
- On the screen that pops up, the first tab should display accounts. In the first blank (server name), type HyperUSA. In the second blank (phone number), type the local access number for your area. Leave everything else the same except for the Username and Password blanks. In those blanks, type your username and password.
- Click OK, and it should be setup and ready to go.
