How to Remove Visual Basic Script Extension
- From your desktop, double-click the My Computer icon.
- From the Menu, select View, then Folder Options.
- Select the File Types tab.
- Select VBScript File from the File Types list.
- Click Remove. If you get a confirmation dialog, click yes.
This should eliminate the VBS extension from your Registered File Types list.
