  • First, click on the Start button, go up to settings, and click on the control panel.
  • On the control panel screen, double-click Internet Options.
  • On the Internet Options screen, there should be a box labled "address". Clear this blank out and type in www.hyperusa.com.
  • After typing the address, click Apply at the bottom and then click the Connections tab at the top.
  • On the Connections tab, click the button labeled Setup (located at the top right).
  • It will bring up a screen that gives you three options. You want to click the third option (I want to setup manually) and then click next .
  • On the next screen, click the first option (I connect through a phone line) and click next.
  • It should now ask for the telephone number. First take the check out of the box that says "Dial using country code and area code", then type the local access number in the Telephone Number blank. Click next.
  • Type in your username and password and click next.
  • In the Connection Name blank, type Hyperusa and then click next.
  • If you have a mail program installed on your computer, the next screen will ask if you want to setup an Internet Mail account. If so, click yes and next.
  • It will ask for a display name. Type in your name and click next.
  • Next, it will ask for an e-mail address. Type in your e-mail address and click next.
  • The next screen will ask for the incoming and outgoing mail servers. At the top, it should say "my incoming mail server is a pop3". Click in the blank below that and type pop3.hyperusa.com. Next, click in the outgoing mail server blank and type smtp.hyperusa.com. Click next.
  • On the next screen it should already have your username listed. You just need to type in your password and click next. *We do not want to click Log on Using Secure Password Authentication.
  • Finally, it should say Finish. The setup is now complete. Once you click Finish, you can access Hypernet by using the Internet Explorer icon on your desktop.
